Troy Smith
Lead Pastor
Pastor Troy became Senior Pastor of NLC in January, 2021. Pastor Troy grew up in Bonne Terre MO and was raised in a Catholic home. At the age of 18 yrs old he married his wife, Yvette and gave his life to Christ at a Pentecostal Church. Pastor Troy has been actively involved in an Assembly of God church since the time of his marriage and has been a Pastor for over 10 years.
Pastor Troy and Yvette have one son, TJ. In his spare time he enjoys golf, baseball and watching a good race on TV. He also enjoys spending time with his family and watching TJ play sports.
Pastor Troy’s vision for NLC is for it to be a beacon of hope to our Community, a place where God radically transforms lives. In a time where the world is divided, our prayer is for the Church to be a guiding light for the hurting and for God to make a difference in every life touched or impacted by NLC’s Ministry.
Colby and Katie Yordy
Youth Pastors
Colby and Katie became the youth pastors in January, 2022. Colby began attending NLC in 2002 when he and his family moved to Farmington at the age of 10. Katie began attending NLC with Colby in 2011, during their senior year of high school. Colby and Katie were married on June 3, 2017 and were blessed with a baby girl, Collyns, in May, 2020.
In their spare time, Colby and Katie love to spend time together as a family. They also enjoy watching Collyns grow and learn new things every day.
Derek and Erika Parmley
Assistant Youth Pastors
Derek and Erika have attended NLC since 2015. They began assisting with the youth ministry in 2016. Derek and Erika have two children, Cheyenne and Chase. In their spare time they love to hunt, fish, and go camping together as a family.
